Our Story
Tails & Scales started in 2014 when founder Jamie Rivera noticed a gap in pet care services: most boarding facilities focused exclusively on dogs and cats, leaving reptile and small animal owners with few safe options.
What began as a home-based service for neighbors has grown into a full-service boarding facility trusted by hundreds of families in our community. We're proud to care for everything from golden retrievers to ball pythons.
Our name says it all — "Tails" for our mammalian friends, "Scales" for our reptilian guests. Every pet is welcome here.
